Based in Edinburgh, Scotland THE THANES are now going into our 33rd year and are still chasing after the sounds of 1964-69 era where beat, punk, garage, folk-rock and psychedelic were kings and queens of the pop scene. 2014-15 saw THE THANES unleash a couple of well-received 7" singles in the UK , "Dishin' The Dirt' on Dirty Water, and "She's Coming Back To Me" on State; backed with The Poets "Love Is Fading Away'. Latest disc is 'Don't Change Your Mind' b/w 'What You Can't Mend' 45 on the Hidden Volume label from Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

THE WILDEBEESTS are something of a garage-rock supergroup, seeing as the group consists of

These three gits all cut their teeth playing raw beat music and generally causing an aural ruckus and have been doing so since quite a while. When their paths crossed they found that they had the same old cranky, rusty equipment plus some new(ish) shiny tunes that they had accumulated along the way and, wah hey, the Wildebeests were born!
