EADES from Leeds follow the soundtraces of oldschool britpop (shimmering blurasishead) and pack it up in a unique and fresh sound of their own. The quintet have shared their new single ‘Backwards’ ahead of the eleven-track record, which follows their 2024 EP ‘Fight Or Flight’ and their 2022 debut album ‘Delusion Spree’.

“Backwards is about changing yourself for people you might not even like, walking on egg shells around people that have a darkness to them,” explains lyricist Tom O’Reilly. “It began as a sort of 90s inspired wire rip off, which we did all love dearly, but we later decided to disassemble and rebuild it as something much more authentic to our current influences and where we’re at as a band.”
