Erstmals wieder in Berlin seit 2019, spielen Earth zum Eröffnungskonzert des CTM Festivals 2026 ihr legendäres Album Hex; Or Printing in the Infernal Method in voller Länge. Auf dem 2005 erschienenen Meisterwerk finden die Begründer des Drone-Metal um Gitarrist Dylan Carlson und Drummerin Adrienne Davies zu einer einzigartigen Verbindung aus minimalistischem Doom, Dark Americana und psychedelischem Folk. Seit mehr als 30 Jahren ist die Band ihrem monolithischen Minimalismus treu: Bei Earth findet sich nichts Überflüssiges. Ihre Methoden sind Reduktion und Verlangsamung, während sie zugleich einen ungeheuren klanglichen Reichtum mikrotonaler Rauheiten und spektraler Verzerrungen entfalten, dessen emotionale Substanz und körperliche Präsenz tiefe Resonanz erzeugt. 
Unterstützt werden sie von Nataša Grujovic und Steve Moore, deren Akkordeon, analoge Synthesizer und Posaune langsam atmende Klangräume erschaffen: Klangwellen, die zwischen rituellem Drone, spirituellem Jazz und den Echos westlicher klassischer Formen, zwischen dem Greifbaren und dem Transzendentalen schweben.
