East London-born multi-creative NIJI began his musical journey at an early age, honing his piano skills and turning professional by 14. Recognised as a 'Rising Star' in 2009, he now splits his time between the UK and NYC, where he serves as the New York Knicks resident organist at Madison Square Garden.
Despite a hiatus from releases, NIJI's talent has taken him on tour with Harry Styles, Stormzy, Charlie Puth, and Michelle Williams, and led to collaborations with Gregory Porter, Moses Boyd and Alex Isley. With two successful releases under his belt, NIJI returned in 2023 with the highly anticipated EP ‘Somewhere In The Middle’.
