CELESTE est un mélange de Sludge / Post-hardcore avec des touches de Black Metal et de Doom. Darkness est le mot qui convient le mieux au groupe. Les lives de CELESTE sont exceptionnels et singuliers car le groupe joue dans l'obscurité totale, n'utilisant que des phares rouges et un stroboscope pour leurs performances.

With more than 600 concerts all over the world, as well as appearances in the most prestigious extreme music festivals (Hellfest, Roskilde, Copenhell, SummerBreeze, Brutal Assault, Roadburn, Psycho Las Vegas, ...), 1 EP and 5 albums, CELESTE is today considered as one of the most important bands of the famous "French Avant-Garde Black-Metal" scene.

CELESTE a mix of Sludge / Post-hardcore with Black Metal and Doom hints. Definitely for fans of Breach, Neurosis, old Cult of Lunaor Deathspell Omega. Darkness is really the word that fits to the band. They are a very particular band live as they play in total darkness, only using red headlights and a strobe for their performances.
